We are excited to invite you to our workshop to hear more about including the voice of lived experience in policy making.

This 2-hour workshop for public sector colleagues in Greater Manchester will cover key principles to including the voice of lived experience in your work. It's an opportunity to find out more about:

  • sharing power and decision making
  • valuing lived and learned experience equally
  • providing inclusive and respectful remuneration
  • involving people early and continuously
  • practical support and the importance of accessibility

About

The workshop will offer a mix of interactive discussions, individual reflection, group exercises, and opportunities to share best practice and ask questions.

It is designed around the Greater Manchester Equality Alliance (GM=EqAl) resource on hearing the voice of lived experience in policy making which summarises the key principles alongside practical guidance.

We are committed to tackling inequalities of power, resource, health and opportunity. By implementing these principles in your work, we can make sure policies work for individuals and communities across Greater Manchester

We hope you can join us. Book your place now.

This workshop is being delivered as part of work under The GM VCFSE Accord.
